Part time vet at Sundean Vets, Hartpury
We’re looking for a motivated small animal vet to join our Hartpury branch on a part-time basis, working Tuesdays and Fridays. You will be sole charge on these days, supported by a dedicated nurse and reception team, with additional backing from our other Sundean branches. In this role, you will enjoy a perfect balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and occasional urgent cases, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workday.
The Hartpury site is a purpose-built branch currently in a period of development following recent staff changes. This is an exciting opportunity for a vet who enjoys autonomy, teamwork, and contributing to the growth and future of a branch practice. We’re looking for someone to work Tuesdays & Fridays (09:00 – 19:00), covering 19 hours per week.

The area is very popular for equestrian activities, countryside walks and rural activities like shooting. The local schools are of the highest quality, and it is a very popular area for new housing and local infrastructure.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues

* Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
