Residence Manager (Summer) – EF Oxford
Oxford Brookes University Summer School – Full Time/Fixed Term. The role will run for 8‑12 weeks during June, July & August.

Tasked with overseeing the onsite residence staff, you will grow your leadership skills by guiding residence leaders in creating memorable experiences for language students from around the world. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, sociable, and challenging environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
* Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience for our students.
* Manage the hotel/residence and the students/staff who stay there as a live‑in position.
* Support a team of international leaders to ensure students have a home‑away‑from‑home experience.
* Take care of room allocation, supervise a team of leaders and ensure the hotel staff work in harmony with your team.
* Liaise with residence owners and staff on everything from cleaning to theme events and safety.
* Share the emergency duty of the site on a rota basis.
Requirements
* Flexible approach to working hours is essential.
* Experience of managing or leading a team is desirable.
* Highly motivated, energetic and positive.
* Customer service oriented with a friendly, approachable manner.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
* Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home.
* Excellent communicator with students, colleagues and external clients.
* High attention to detail, organised & thorough.
* Offered subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
* Right to work in the UK.
* This live‑in position provides accommodation and full board at no extra cost, with residential requirements attached.
