Main responsibilities for the Head of Sales and Marketing:
As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and enhancing brand presence within the IT sector. You will lead and motivate both the sales and marketing teams, developing and executing integrated strategies that generate leads, convert opportunities, and deliver measurable results. This role requires hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and expertise in areas such as digital marketing, SaaS solutions, and emerging technology trends.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, partner events, and networking functions, including speaking engagements and thought leadership presentations.
* Develop and implement the overall sales strategy to accelerate new business acquisition and drive sustainable revenue growth.
* Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a high-performing sales team (Account Managers, BDMs, SDRs).
* Oversee the full sales cycle, including prospecting, scoping customer requirements, solution design, pricing, and contract closure.
* Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, SEO, paid advertising, events, and email automation.
* Manage content creation, including case studies, whitepapers, social media, and website updates.
* Deploy and optimise marketing automation and CRM workflows (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics).
* Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and refine strategies to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understand business challenges, and identify upsell opportunities.
* Identify emerging trends in technology and the MSP space (cybersecurity, cloud migration, AI, automation, compliance).
* Conduct competitive analysis and position the organisation effectively within the market.
* Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and service delivery teams.
* Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling solution offerings tailored to client needs.
* Support strategic planning, pricing structures, and commercial decision-making.
Main Requirements for the Head of Sales and Marketing:
* Proven senior sales and marketing leadership experience in IT, MSP, SaaS, or technology sectors.
* Track record of driving revenue growth and executing successful sales strategies.
* Experience leading and developing high-performing sales and marketing teams.
* Hands-on experience managing full sales cycles and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Strong commercial acumen with data-driven decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking abilities.
* Ability to analyse market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to shape strategy.
* Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of working across sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams.

* Salary £50,000 - £55,000per annum + exceptional commission structure
