About the Role
Key Accountants provide accounting and taxation support to clients all over the UK and we are looking at recruiting for a bookkeeper to join our friendly team.
An experienced individual, you will provide high-quality bookkeeping for clients, monitor deadlines and ensure that the company a deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor deadlines and chase clients for records
* Monthly control account reconciliations
* VAT return submissions
* Train clients on bookkeeping software and monitor MTD deadlines
* Assist with monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
* Ad hoc analysis reports
* Communicating effectively with clients and staff
* Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
The person
* Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in an accountancy environment
* Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Good communication, analytical and organisational skills.
* A team player with the skills to adapt to new working practices and systems.
* Ability to interact with clients and staff.
* Keen eye for detail and able to provide accurate information as required.
* Ability to demonstrate a good sense of priorities.
* Structures workload and delivers consistent results.
* Excel skills.
* Achieved bookkeeping qualifications (AAT or similar)
