Obstetrics & General Theatre experience is essential.
We are looking for qualified ODP practitioners and Registered Nurses to join our dynamic obstetric/general theatre team at our high-performing trust. We pride ourselves on excellence, aiming to set the national standard in patient safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Following appropriate training, our ODPs and Registered Nurses assist as part of the Theatre team as anaesthetic/recovery practitioners or scrub practitioners. They develop skills to supervise and plan evidence-based interventional care, progressing from close to proximal supervision.

The operating departments at James Cook University Hospital and The Friarage Hospital include multiple theatres providing services in various specialties such as General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, MRI, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Maxillofacial, ECT, Paediatrics, and Emergency care.

Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Nursing
* Registered General Nurse
* Current NMC Registration
* Recognisable teaching qualification
Experience
* Experience in an acute or community setting
* Commitment to evidence-based practice
* Ability to adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
All new staff requiring DBS clearance will need to pay the cost via salary deduction from their first month's pay.
