Are you seeking a new challenge and a fulfilling career in healthcare? Do you want to make a difference in people's lives?

Obstetrics & General Theatre experience is essential.

We are looking for qualified ODP practitioners and Registered Nurses to join our dynamic obstetric/general theatre team at our high-performing trust. We pride ourselves on excellence, aiming to set the national standard in patient safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Our 9,000 staff play a vital role in achieving this, making working for the trust very rewarding. Benefits include pension, salary sacrifice schemes, on-site nursery, and staff development initiatives.

Following appropriate training, our ODPs and Registered Nurses assist as part of the Theatre team as anaesthetic/recovery practitioners or scrub practitioners. They develop skills to supervise and plan evidence-based interventional care, progressing from close to proximal supervision.

Main duties of the job

Do you have:

* A passion for delivering high-quality patient care
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care
* A commitment to continual personal and professional development

The operating departments at James Cook University Hospital and The Friarage Hospital include multiple theatres providing services in various specialties such as General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, MRI, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Maxillofacial, ECT, Paediatrics, and Emergency care.

Please note this post will close once sufficient applications are received.
