Training Course Co-ordinator
Location: Bradford Head Office (with up to 2 days per week home working)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week

About the Role
British Wool is seeking a highly organised and motivated Training Course Co-ordinator to join our Member Engagement team. This role is central to the co-ordination and administration of our sheep shearing and wool handling training courses across the UK, which are delivered to around 1,000 trainees each year.
The successful candidate will work closely with regional lead instructors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality training experiences for our members. The postholder will also provide secretarial support for the British Isles Shearing Competition Association (BISCA).
Core Responsibilities
· Schedule training courses with Regional Lead Instructors, venues, and instructors.
· Maintain instructor certification records and arrange training as required.
· Promote shearing and wool handling courses through social media, advertising, and newsletters.
· Manage bookings and distribute course materials to trainees, instructors, and venues.
· Collate post-course feedback, issue trainee certificates, and maintain training databases.
· Procure training materials and equipment.
· Liaise with key stakeholders including Young Farmers Clubs and Farming Connect.
· Provide support for wider Member Engagement activities and represent British Wool at industry events when required.
· Assist with switchboard calls, directing and responding to calls appropriate, assist with outgoing mail when required.
Essential Criteria
· Excellent communication, planning, and administrative skills with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure a high-quality training experience for members.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and use of social media for promotion.
Desirable Criteria
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar training or service co-ordination role.
· Qualifications or training in Customer Service.
