CNS – Apheresis & Stem Cell Transplant

Location: Private Care at Guy’s, London (Part of London Bridge Hospital)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + benefits

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead and coordinate our new Apheresis Unit at Private Care at Guy’s — part of London Bridge Hospital and rated Outstanding by the CQC. This is a unique opportunity to shape a pioneering service within one of the UK’s most advanced private cancer centres.

You’ll be at the forefront of launching and managing apheresis services including autologous stem cell harvesting, plasma exchange, and white blood cell depletion. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating stem cell transplants and preparing for future therapies such as CAR-T and allogeneic transplantation.

This role combines clinical leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on patient care. You’ll work closely with the apheresis clinical lead, project and quality manager, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure regulatory compliance, service excellence, and compassionate care.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you’ll bring:

1. NMC Registration
2. Significant experience in haematology, oncology, or stem cell transplant coordination
3. Post-registration education/qualification relevant to the specialty
4. Advanced knowledge of apheresis procedures and stem cell harvesting
5. Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. JACIE)
6. Ability to lead service development and train clinical colleagues
7. Excellent communication and advocacy skills
8. Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
9. Commitment to continuous professional development in haemato-oncology and transplant care
