Sales Administrator-Manufacturing
This is a Permanent, full-time (on-site) vacancy
Salary: £25,000
Monday to Friday: 7am – 4pm
Please Note:
Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full UK Driving licence, and your own vehicle, all mileage and expenses paid
Staffline are keen to speak with individuals with strong administrative and Customer Service skills
This role will involve an element of sales, and Customer site visits
In Brief:
You will manage the administrative operations, support the existing sales team, as well as identify new business opportunities, inactive and new customers
Supporting customers through the manufacturing process
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails
2. Quoting for works
3. Input customer orders accurately and efficiently
4. Order materials and manage inventory communication
5. Organise and schedule appointments and meetings
6. Maintain filing systems, both electronic and manually
7. Assist with accounts team basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
8. Support the other departments with administrative duties
9. Participate in growing the customer portfolio
10. Customer visits
This requires:
11. Excellent communication skills with customers and the internal manufacturing departments
12. Organisational skills
13. Strong IT and admin skills
14. Ability to multi-task
15. Prioritise and re-prioritise when necessary
16. Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or sales role
17. Proficiency with PC and in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
19. Strong organisational and time-management abilities
20. A team player with a willingness to learn and take initiative
