The at Imperial College is one of the leading bioengineering departments worldwide with an extensive offering of undergraduate, masters and research degree programmes. The student experience we provide is a substantial contributor to the success of our department and we further strengthen the existing provision by addressing the wellbeing and mental health challenges that students face. The Student Wellbeing Advisor role enables us to enhance and develop wellbeing advice and support within the department for our students.

You will also lead training for Personal Tutors and other colleagues in wellbeing awareness and act as the Departmental Disability Officer, working with the College Disability Advisory Service to organise and facilitate specific recommendations for students.
You will have a relevant qualification as well as experience of working in a further or higher education environment with a focus on student mentoring and support in a professional context. You will also need to have experience of working within relevant professional protocols and policies, including safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality.
