English Teacher A forward-thinking secondary school in Sandwell is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term assignment is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT ready to deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4. Key Details Position: English Teacher Location: Sandwell Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Long-term assignment Pay: £175–£250 per day (paid to scale) The Role You will teach English Language and Literature to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and discussion. This role involves the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including planning, marking, assessments, and contributing to department initiatives. The Candidate We are seeking a qualified English Teacher with QTS (or ECT status) and a strong command of the English curriculum. You should be passionate about developing literacy and communication skills, confident in behaviour management, and committed to helping every student achieve their potential.
