Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference at the very start of a client’s journey? At Fletchers Solicitors, we’re seeking a Funding Assistant to become a key part of our dedicated funding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, people-focused environment with hybrid working and excellent benefits. You’ll play an integral role in guiding clients through the funding process, working with a wide range of stakeholders across and outside the business. With your commitment to outstanding client care, you’ll help ensure every client feels supported and informed from day one.

Main Responsibilities:

* Liaising with clients to gain consent to take out insurance policies
* Incepting and updating insurance policies throughout the life of the case
* Dealing with queries from lawyers
* Contacting third‑party insurers to conduct BTE checks
* Processing insurance claims and uploading disbursement vouchers
* Assisting the Funding Supervisor with reconciliations and any other ad‑hoc admin jobs as required
* Working collaboratively with the accounts team to ensure insurance claims are allocated correctly


Essential Skills and Experience:

* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Basic Excel skills to be able to support management with reconciliations


Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Experience of working with a case management system
* Understanding of ATE and BTE insurance
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
