About the Department
The Service department is responsible for the service and maintenance of wind farms within the UK and Ireland. We foster an open and informal culture where teamwork and communication are key to our success. Join us to work in an exciting industry alongside highly motivated colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to perform daily maintenance and field service tasks.
* Work safely, adhering to environmental standards, and meet service targets as part of a regional team.
* Conduct periodic service inspections according to Vestas specifications.
* Replace components (electrical and mechanical) and troubleshoot system issues.
* Coordinate with field technicians, supervisors, and office staff.
Qualifications
You should have a background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry, with proven problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather is essential. A full, clean driving license is required. Accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous.
