Job Title: Senior Operations Technician - Electrical
Location: Barrow - On Site
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Shift allowance Depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
1. Responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance and validation of complex electrical/ mechanical equipment in a timely manner
2. Provide support service to business products under construction and site facilities customers
3. Assist with maintenance reviews, providing appropriate technical advice as required. Attend meetings as required, ensuring that an active role is played
4. Liaise with other departments and contractors as appropriate, fostering appropriate customer relations
5. Assist with the development and implementation of innovative process solutions
6. Access, have a clear understanding of and apply the Quality and HS&E Management System documentation and control measures
Your skills and experiences:
7. HNC or equivalent - ( Including Institution Electrical Engineers Regs 18th Edition qualification)
8. Experience fault finding / problem solving
9. Experience working with complex electrical systems
10. Demonstrate the ability to understand new systems
11. Have an advanced knowledge of relevant areas as appropriate to the position
12. Creation, receipt, maintenance, guidance and disposal/ control of documents and records

The Maintenance Team:
As a member of the Maintenance Team, you will have exposure to a wide variety of locations and business departments, supporting in a wide scope of work in keeping projects and facilities running smoothly. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with department Stakeholders while working in a concise effective team, and alongside other Trade and Operation departments. This role will provide the opportunity for the right candidate to grow a career in the business and progress to specialise in various types of infrastructure. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
