The Opportunity
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Chemical Engineer to join our Power Plant team on a permanent 8/6 roster, FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Superintendent- Mechanical (Gas Turbine), this role provides engineering advice, expertise and guidelines for commissioning, operation, and maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards and statutory requirements.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
1. Reviewing equipment operation parameters and monitoring inspection data
2. Providing technical guidance and support to OMT team to use, calibration, and maintenance of chemical instruments.
3. Taking part in acceptance inspection and test
4. Scheduling equipment maintenance and overhaul
5. Developing process optimization and performance improvement for the position scope
Successful applicant will have:
6. A current Drivers Licence is essential.
7. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
8. Skill in chemical analysis, chemical instruments use/calibration and lab equipment operation.
9. Relevant knowledge of equipment and instrument in power plant chemical discipline
