Mechanical Installer (Skilled labourer) - UK Travel
Location: Wolverhampton Based (UK travel required)
Contract: 3-month initial contract, leading to a permanent role
Pay: £16.50/hour (contract) → £28,500/year (permanent) + overtime opportunities

About the Role
We're looking for a practical and motivated Mechanical Installer to join our growing Installations team. You'll work on a variety of industrial and utility projects across the UK, installing wastewater containment units and associated access structures, including gantries, stairs and railings.
This is a hands‑on role that involves travelling to different sites, working safely as part of a professional team, and delivering high‑quality installations to specification. Full training and a personal development plan will be provided to help you progress within the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Install containment units, pipework, gantries, stairs, and railings to engineering drawings and specifications
* Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete mechanical installations
* Work both independently and as part of a team on construction and utility sites nationwide
* Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met on‑site
* Travel and stay away from home as required (accommodation and allowances provided)
* Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
* Valid CSCS card (essential)
* Construction site experience (required)
* Experience using power tools and hand tools
* Full UK driving licence
* Additional qualifications such as PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, or First Aid are an advantage
* Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely
* Willingness to travel and work away from home regularly
