About Our Client

Our client is a global innovator in point-of-care diagnostics, delivering rapid, accurate, and accessible testing solutions for infectious and non-communicable diseases. Their flagship platform is a portable, battery-operated molecular diagnostics system that enables decentralised testing in both clinical and resource-limited settings.

Job Description

This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving commercial success across Europe, managing a regional team, and building long-term partnerships across healthcare systems.

3. Lead and manage a regional sales team (currently 6), providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
4. Execute regional sales and marketing strategy, aligned with global objectives and KPIs.
5. Drive direct sales of IVD solutions into government bodies, NGOs (e.g. NHS), and private healthcare providers.
6. Develop and deliver on sales targets, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and account expansion.
7. Build and maintain high-level relationships with procurement leaders, ministries of health, and clinical stakeholders.
8. Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings across Europe.
9. Support pricing strategy and market positioning, ensuring competitiveness and sustainability.
10. Contribute to long-term regional planning, including team structure, resource allocation, and market development.

Adapt to evolving business needs, supporting broader strategic initiatives as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional General Sales Manager - Europe should have:

11. Proven experience in direct sales of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) into public and private healthcare sectors.
12. Strong background in managing and developing sales teams, ideally across multiple countries or regions.
13. Deep understanding of healthcare procurement processes, including government tenders and NGO partnerships.
14. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale commercial operations.
15. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
16. Experience working with global health organisations or ministries of health is a strong advantage.

Location - Candidates can be based anywhere in UK, or Western Europe and be comfortable working remotely and travelling internationally as needed.
