Practice Plus Group are pleased to announce that they have recently over the healthcare contract at HMP Wymott, a Category C prison in Lancashire.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our team. The prison houses around 1100 men with a variety of health needs.
The role would be suitable for an experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
We would welcome full and part time applications.
This position is offering up to £63,300 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training
Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required

Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/ Forensic Psychology
Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
