Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company with over 30 years of experience, specializing in tests, industrial commissioning, and supporting customers in studies and assembly of industrial equipment.
We are looking to fill the position of Piping Construction Engineer (f/m).
Accountabilities:
1. Delegate responsibilities to CE's/Works Coordination Leads, leading and motivating the team through best practices.
2. Deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support MEH construction activities.
3. Define the scope boundaries of works.
4. Liaise with SMEs and client counterparts.
5. Ensure documents comply with the latest works information and MEH documentation.
6. Keep documents up-to-date and review at least every 6 months.
7. Own and drive deliverables from conception to A-Accepted status, aiming for >90% first-time acceptance.
8. Prioritize and own documentation to enable construction as per the Level 4 plan, e.g., T-3 months acceptance prior to works.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives for processes and procedures.
10. Report directly to the Building Manager or their deputy.
11. Provide positive HSE leadership, fostering a strong, compliant HSE culture throughout the project lifecycle.
12. Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site license requirements.
Key Deliverables:
1. Deliver Construction Work Packs supporting the MEH Alliance programme.
2. Utilize the Procon system to support construction works and progress reporting.
3. Coordinate Work Authorization and Permit system compliance for the MEH Alliance.
4. Coordinate safe access routing to workfaces for the MEH Alliance construction works.
Support topographical and other surveying activities required for the MEH Alliance construction works.
Qualifications:
1. Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
2. Relevant professional accreditation (e.g., PM, Construction, Engineering).
3. Ability to obtain Security Clearance (BPSS or higher).
4. CCNSG Safety Passport.
5. IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification.
Experience:
1. At least 5 years of experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC) in a construction environment.
2. Proven track record in nuclear power projects preferred.
3. Experience with major construction projects.
