The successful Buyer in Abingdon, Oxfordshire will be responsible for the cost-effective procurement of materials, goods and services, ensuring that all purchasing activities support the wider business requirements. Key responsibilities for the Buyer in Abingdon, Oxfordshire include:

Sourcing and placing orders for both contract and non-contract items using MRP reports and requisitions.

Negotiating to secure the best possible pricing.

Maintaining and updating supplier information within the MRP system.

Ensuring materials and components are available on time and at optimum stock levels.
