Our client is looking for a TIG & MIG Welder to join their team. In this role you will be using CAD drawings to weld bespoke stainless‑steel products. The ideal candidate will have a positive working attitude and previous experience with TIG and MIG welding of stainless and mild steel.
Responsibilities
* Weld bespoke and standard stainless‑steel products to a high‑quality standard using CAD drawings.
* Work with 0.9mm - 8mm stainless steel and 1mm - 16mm mild steel.
* Be fabricating both 1 off / small and 100+ / large batches of products.
* Be fabricating both sheet metal work and mild and stainless steel.
* Use air tools and grinding equipment to clean and prepare welds for polishing.
* Maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adhering to safety guidelines.
* Do general assembly and sub assembly works.
* General housekeeping and factory tidiness.
* Work closely with and support other teams and members of the Operations Team to ensure project timelines are fulfilled and all risks, non‑conformances, hidden costs and snags are mitigated / resolved.
* Carry out all duties in accordance with best practice and the company’s HSE policy.
Requirements
* Previous experience in TIG & MIG welding.
* Able to work with 0.9mm - 8mm stainless steel and 1mm - 16mm mild steel.
* Confident with fabricating small and large batches of products.

Compensation & Benefits
From £14.01 per hour + dependent on experience and weld test.
Hours: Monday – Thursday (7am – 4pm) // Friday (7am – 12pm). Overtime will be offered when required at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
