Hutchison Ports (UK) - Port of Felixstowe is the largest deep-water Port in the UK and to support our continued growth and development we are looking to recruit a Senior Technician to join our Engineering department. Working with the other teams in Engineering and departments at the Port of Felixstowe to help focus and drive HPUK business strategy objectives including our NetZero targets and further projects.

The Recruitment Process - What is involved?
Our recruitment process has been designed for you to easily apply and highlight the best of your skills, expertise and personal attributes. We want you to be prepared, confident and the best version of you for this role. Our recruitment process involves the redaction of each candidate’s identifiable information, leaving their skills, experience and answers to the competency questions to be assessed.
1. Complete your online application on our website by 26th January 2026. Please read the information about the role carefully and provide as much relevant information about yourself as possible and the transferable skills in relation to the role.
2. Applications will be redacted removing any personal or identifiable data prior to being sent over to the hiring managers.
3. In this process you should expect to have two interviews’, with initial interviews being conducted in February 2026 of which would be face to face. The successful applicants will then be progressed from initial interviews to then a second face to face, which will include a Working from Height test and meeting the team around their workshop.
4. After the interviews we will be in touch as soon as possible to let you know if you have been successful.
Hutchison Ports UK is able to sponsor skilled worker visas in cases where the role fits the requirements set out by the UK government. In cases where a post-study visa is used initially, it may be the case that the skilled worker visa requirements will not be met once this visa has expired.
