About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Learning & Development Trainer to join our L&D function. This is a role for a confident facilitator with proven experience delivering powerful, engaging training that leaves a measurable impact. As our L&D Trainer, you will play a critical part in accelerating competence, elevating sales capability, and supporting operational excellence across a regulated environment. Your delivery will directly influence performance, customer outcomes, and organisational success.


What you will deliver

1. Facilitate onboarding, induction, product, system, sales, and compliance training with confidence and authority.
2. Tailor your approach to meet learner needs, capability gaps, and business priorities.
3. Support leadership development sessions for new and existing managers.
4. Deliver training aligned with FCA requirements, ensuring consistent, compliant knowledge transfer.
5. Own and deliver our Induction Day, ensuring every new starter experiences a high-quality, professional welcome.
6. Maintain immaculate training environments—materials, resources, and governance documentation.
7. Keep flawless records of attendance, assessments, and learning evidence to uphold audit readiness.
8. Deliver sessions that support sales skill development and performance improvement, including targeted interventions and PIP-support when needed.
9. Run knowledge sessions, refreshers, and drop-ins that keep capability sharp and up to date.
10. Work closely with Management, Coaches, QA, Sales Leaders, Compliance, Operations and L&D colleagues to ensure training reflects operational need and drives meaningful outcomes.
11. Provide insight on learner performance, trends, and opportunities for programme enhancement.

12. Proven experience delivering engaging, structured, and high-quality training in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
13. Strong presentation and communication skills, with natural authority and learner rapport.
14. Excellent organisation, time management, and governance discipline.
15. Ability to adjust your style, challenge constructively, and support learners across all capability levels.
16. Confidence working cross-functionally and representing L&D with credibility.
17. Experience in a sales, operational, or regulated environment would be advantageous.
