We are currently recruiting on behalf of a care home in Brynseincyn who are currently looking for a Domestic/Cleaner to join the team.
Job overview;
To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices.
Responsibilities and duties;
The Domestic/Cleaner's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
· Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards
· Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
· Ensure the individuals' rights are protected
· Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Other duties;
Other duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any (or all) of the items in the following list:
· Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
· Working in the in-house laundry. Ensuring the residents clothes, bedding are washed and dried. Kept in the resident's rooms appropriately
Personal and professional development;
· Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
· Take responsibility for own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
· To maintain cleaning skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time to time, be required in order to maintain that currency of practice.
Essential;
Ensure accurate, legible cleaning schedules are kept and maintained
To communicate effectively with individuals and their visitors

Working hours;
5 days over a 7-day period,

Pay: £12.60 per hour
