AM Global have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client on a permanent basis, based in Peterborough. Overview of the role: On-going maintenance of a large treatment plant Leading Maintenance Projects Refurbishment and fabrication of company parts and specific equipment including PVC and Stainless-Steel pipework Fulfilment of facility maintenance tasks Fault finding, installing, and maintaining instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) through preventative and reactive maintenance Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systems Complete testing of electrical circuits and panels, to ensure systems are safe and compliant with regulations Instruments Calibration/Validation Use Safety Risk Assessments and comply with these requirements Work Overtime during evenings/mornings and weekends if required Customer site visits if required (only expected in emergencies) Participate in trainings and team meetings Do regular 5S/housekeeping activities on the site Participate in LEAN/KAIZEN activities on shop floor Qualifications required: Electrical qualifications (NVQ3 in electrical based units, City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent) Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages Experience in industrial electrical works Previously worked in Industrial area, assembly or other operational role Proved record of EHS and Quality awareness Experience with 415V equipment Fabrications/Welding experience with PVC and stainless-steel pipework, valves, and fittings Desirable: City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection 18th Edition Wiring Regulations This is a day shift role, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week Benefits package: Holiday allowance 26 days plus Bank Holidays with the option to buy or sell additional days off Private Healthcare - currently BUPA, with an option to add your family members Dental Plan providing cover or monetary cash back on appointments and treatments Enhanced Maternity / Primary Care pay of 13 weeks full pay from Day 1 Enhanced Paternity / Secondary Care pay of 2 weeks full pay from Day 1 Adoption Leave of 13 weeks full pay for Parental, and 2 weeks full Co-parental pay from day 1 of employment Support for Carers offering flexibility for longer term caring needs such as considering options of remote work, flexible work hours, adjusted schedules, and paid or unpaid leave A Lifestyle Account where we put in £60 to start you off, then match you £ for £ on every activity you buy up to £360 Discounted Gym Memberships All employees receive one day of paid volunteering leave per year Leading pension contribution of 10% of your earnings from us every month, doubling your own contribution of 5% Option to buy shares at preferential rates Salary Sacrifice Schemes The Bigger Picture - protecting you and your loved ones in the longer term Industry leading Life Insurance providing you 10 x your salary as a benefit paid to your nominated person(s) Income Protection that covers you for 5 years at up to 60% of your salary, with 2 x your salary as a lump sum should you be unable to return to work
