Paralegal / Solicitor - Landlord and Tenant Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated Paralegal or Solicitor specialising in landlord and tenant law to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in housing law, looking to further their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant residential matters, including notices, HMO regulations, and rent repayment orders.
* Handle cases involving injunctions related to access and anti-social behaviour, disrepair claims, harassment, and unlawful eviction.
* Advise both private rental and social tenants, and manage cases involving High Court Sheriffs and bailiffs.
* Draft legal documents and ensure compliance with all current laws and regulations.
* Offer eloquent and professional advice over the phone, and attend court proceedings when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in landlord and tenant law, ideally gained at organisations such as Shelter Cymru, Shelter England, CAB, or within a legal aid firm handling housing cases.
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent drafting skills and the ability to communicate complex legal advice clearly and effectively.
* Professional demeanour, excellent time management skills, and a solution-focused approach.
* Friendly and approachable, with a commitment to supporting colleagues and clients alike.
* Qualification as a Solicitor or working as a Paralegal with relevant experience.
