Salary: Grade 4, £18,646 - £19,550 per annum. £12.84 - £13.47 per hour
32.5 hours per week, term time plus one week working 39 weeks per year

The Aspire Federation are seeking to appoint 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work with SEND pupils. This will be working with the Pastoral and Teaching staff to provide support for children on a one to one basis or in small groups.
Successful candidates must have:
Good levels of Numeracy and Literacy.
Be able to follow teachers plans and be able to give accurate feedback regarding pupils.
Be resilient, adaptable and able to use their initiative
Have experience in working with children with Special Educational needs, in particular neuro-diverse needs.
Be able to provide stimulating activities

Landgate School
Landgate is a school for learners aged 4-19 with Autism and/or communication and interaction conditions. We are a small school with huge impact, dedicated to improving outcomes for learners and their families in the Wigan borough and beyond. The Aspire Federation will have four sites based in Hindley, Bryn, Abram and Leigh from September 2025. Whilst the post will initially be based at one site, please be advised that the post holder may be required to work across all of the federated sites.
The Role
We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint temporary highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and resilient one to one Level 2 Teaching Assistants (numerous posts). The successful candidates will have evidence of outstanding classroom practice and be able to develop positive relationships, inspire and motivate, engage and challenge learners to achieve.
