What You'll Do:
As a Housing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our Housing Management and Income Services. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing clear, accurate housing advice to tenants and homeowners.
* Assisting with mixed tenure repairs and consultations.
* Supporting tenancy sustainment and housing options.
* Identifying rechargeable repairs and ensuring income recovery.
* Proactively managing housing debt and negotiating repayment plans.
* Coordinating appointments and liaising with Housing Officers.
* Handling sensitive customer interactions with empathy and professionalism.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

We're seeking someone who is:
* Organised and able to manage their own workload.
* Skilled in handling conflicting priorities and deadlines.
* A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
* Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with distressed or challenging individuals.

You will work 18.5 hours per week Hybrid (a mix of office-based and remote working).
This post is temporary until October 2027 due to service requirement.
