Business Development Manager
£50,000 to £60,000 + bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist power solutions business to recruit a Business Development Manager.
As the Business Development Manager, you will focus on growing revenue through new and existing customer relationships. You will identify opportunities across a wide range of sectors, use a consultative approach to understand client requirements, and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored power solutions.
Role & responsibilities:
* Develop new business opportunities in target markets and expand existing accounts
* Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and challenges
* Use consultative selling to create proposals and solutions that add real value
* Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closure and handover
* Maintain accurate records and reporting through CRM and business tools
* Collaborate with proposals, projects and admin teams to ensure successful delivery
* Represent the business through site visits, client meetings and presentations
Skills & Experience:
* Ability to develop relationships and drive growth.
* Proven track record in a Business Development Manager role
* Knowledge of power generation applications or electrical engineering (diesel, gas, solar or CHP)
* Strong leadership, organisation and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and presentation ability
* You will be commercially minded, technically confident and able to adapt to different clients and industries.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to customer sites
