West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint Analysts to work in its Protective Services Crime with posts Non Recent Child Exploitation Investigations and Operational support to local policing.
This job involves gathering and interpreting information to assist Senior Leaders in their decision making. Analysts work across multiple teams and are a key role in the success of a huge variety of major crime arrests and convictions.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an investigative mindset who can demonstrate their ability to work in a sometimes fast paced environment. A knowledge of analytical techniques is preferable and/ or previous experience in a law enforcement role. Excellent communication skills are essential as this role frequently presents their findings both to investigation teams and court.
All Analysts work flexible hours Monday to Friday. It is a hybrid role and successful applicants will have the opportunity to work both remotely and within the office once fully trained.
As this is a Career Progression Scheme, candidates may be considered to start further along the progression scheme, if they possess the requisite experience and knowledge.
