Job Description:
We are seeking a Research Assistant to work on the mechanisms underpinning successful responses to vaccination. The successful candidate will participate in a BBSRC-funded project studying germinal centre responses, focusing on B cell-macrophage interactions related to virus escape, memory, and immune tolerance.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Biological/Immunological sciences, with interest in antibody responses in vivo. Experience with cellular and molecular immunology techniques such as tissue imaging (tissue section preparation, immunohistology, laser scanning microscopy), flow cytometry, and ELISA is desirable. Candidates are not required to be proficient in all these areas.
