Lead IT Support Technician

As they continue to scale, theyre looking for a senior IT support professional to keep their growing infrastructure running smoothly and securely.

What Youll Be Doing:
Acting as a Senior in the IT support operations, acting as the main escalation point for complex technical issues.
Manage and prioritise support tickets, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
Oversee day-to-day IT activities from server maintenance and patching to endpoint management.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and a clear knowledge base.
Monitor key support metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Handle equipment inventory, procurement, and IT onboarding/off boarding.
Deliver user training and develop support resources to build internal capability.
Work closely with infrastructure and security teams on wider technical projects.
Occasionally provide out-of-hours support as part of a shared rota.
Main Skills Needed:
~4+ years experience in IT support, including time in a Lead role.
~ Strong technical background across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and networking.
~ Confident with Intune (or other MDM tools), patch management, and scripting.
~ Comfortable writing SQL queries and automating manual processes.
~ Skilled at managing workloads and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
~ Excellent communication able to make the complex sound simple.
~ Knowledge of IT security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ITIL frameworks is a bonus.
