Role Overview
You will be part of a team of high‑performing professionals reporting to the Senior Accountant and regularly corresponding with the Head of Finance and wider business. The position is permanent full‑time and offers significant scope for personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Month‑end assistance including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
* Tax compliance support including BAS, FBT, WorkCover and Payroll Tax
* Banking, cash management and bank reconciliations
* Group budgeting, forecasting and periodic reporting
* Ad‑hoc analysis, project work and reporting tasks as required
Qualifications & Preferences
* Commencement of CA/CPA qualifications or about to commence
* Relevant tertiary education in accounting
* Experience in a relevant industry is preferable but not essential
* Big 4 or mid‑tier candidates are encouraged to apply
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Exceptional communication skills
* A terrific attitude and work ethic
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Attention to detail
