This role offers the opportunity to work closely with development and validation teams, ensuring that products meet functional, technical, and user requirements prior to release.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for quality, and a keen eye for detail who enjoys identifying issues and driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify products and components to be assessed within the software review processDefine appropriate test strategies, including test cases and supporting test dataExecute diagnostic, system, and integration testingDocument and manage test results across each test cycle, identifying and tracking defectsLiaise closely with software development teams to resolve issues efficientlyPresent findings and technical assessments to relevant stakeholdersCoordinate with development and validation teams to ensure effective communicationIdentify and eliminate redundant functions and componentsMaintain awareness of user needs, business applications, and industry standardsEnsure adherence to recognised testing standards and protocolsSkills & ExperienceDegree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience; ISTQB qualification desirableMinimum 2 years' experience in a Test Analyst or similar software testing roleExperience working with computer software and coding environmentsStrong understanding of software development lifecyclesKnowledge of test techniques and programming conceptsExcellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsStrong planning and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to produce clear, articulate technical reportsExperience working within project teams and meeting deadlinesAdditional InformationHybrid working model with a preference for team collaboration onsite in CheltenhamOccasional UK travel may be required for meetings, training, or customer engagementsCandidates must hold active SC Clearance; MOD DV clearance is strongly preferred
