4. Take ownership of client accounts by monitoring order progress, following up on delays or breakages, and keeping clients informed with accurate updates.
5. Collaborate with team leaders and managers to resolve any customer issues or complaints efficiently and with a focus on service recovery.
6. Offer clear and knowledgeable guidance on optical lens dispensing, assisting with technical queries where needed.
7. Share information about upcoming products, services, and promotions to support customer engagement and awareness.
8. Accurately process all customer orders on the day they are received, maintaining data integrity and efficiency.
9. Reconnect with inactive or lapsed clients through outbound calls, encouraging renewed interest and ongoing business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Customer Service Advisor should have:
10. Strong customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced or technical environment
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem resolution
13. Comfortable with phone-based communication and CRM systems
14. Knowledge of optical products or experience in the optical industry is a plus (but not essential)
