As a Technology Support III team member in the Technology Resiliency Management team within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience. Our team understands regulatory requirements, drives company policy and engages with support teams to ensure that the 1000+ applications design, build, test and, in an incident, execute recovery plans efficiently and effectively.
Job responsibilities
1. Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
2. Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
3. Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
4. Identity issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
5. Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
6. Balances strategic planning capabilities with the ability to create practical and actionable plans that are coherent and understood by all stakeholders
7. Develops consensus within a matrix-managed organizational climate of diverse development and operational activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
11. Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
12. Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
13. Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
14. BS degree or equivalent experience in computer science
15. Experience in software engineering, infrastructure, production management and/or site reliability engineering in one of the following languages: C, C++, Java J2EE technology stack and web technologies /, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby and/or shell scripting (Unix/Linux)
16. Hands-on experience with deployment, monitoring, and ops analysis tools such as Kubernetes, GAIA, Public Cloud etc.
17. Hands on experience on managing operations and troubleshooting service issues in large scale internet-centric production environments
18. Understanding of Network and Cloud Technologies,. Security, Load Balancing, and Network Routing Protocols
19. Experience working with Architecture teams in designing reusable patterns, provide governance around adoption, and influence software engineering teams on roadmaps
20. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
21. Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
22. Working understanding of public cloud
