Bank Facilities Operative - Selby role at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Are you looking for a post based within our York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management Team? We are seeking a strong team player who is kind, friendly and motivated. Full training will be provided; a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential. The working pattern is a rolling rota that covers the hours the department is operational – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Linen Room – distributing and assisting with deliveries of linen
* Portering – helping with patient flow and movement of equipment around the hospital
* Domestic duties – cleaning wards/departments, preparing and serving food to patients
* Environment – removing and segregating waste
* Catering – working in the kitchen alongside the Catering team
