Lecturer in Health & Social Care (on-site)
Location: Suffolk New College, Ipswich campus. Salary £30,000-£44,000 per annum (based on college salary assessment). 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The role may require travel between campuses.
Key responsibilities:
* Teach across all levels of the Health & Social Care provision.
* Develop and deliver high‑quality teaching, assessment and marking.
* Use resources effectively to support learning outcomes.
* Engage with industry partners and facilitate placements.
* Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
* Maintain accurate student records and comply with college policies.
Qualifications and experience:
* Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in a related subject.
* Teaching qualification, or commitment to obtaining one within a specified period after commencement.
* Good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above.
* Experience of teaching or training in Health & Social Care.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
