Job Description
3. Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements and reports.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Manage the organisation's budget and provide strategic financial planning.
6. Supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations.
7. VAT knowledge
8. Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
9. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
10. Monitor cash flow and forecast future financial trends.
11. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful School Finance Manager should have:
12. Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
13. Previous experience within a school is essential (independent school is ideal)
14. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
15. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders
What's on Offer
18. Competitive daily rate of approximately £285 to £350, depending on experience.
19. Role will be around 6 weeks long!
20. The role will be 5 days a week on site, west London location.
