The Opportunity
Our client is partnering with a leading organisation to deliver a critical training programme within the petrochemical sector. We are looking for a Dutch-speaking Writing Instructional Designer to support the development of technical learning content tailored to specialised audiences. This is a 3-12 month contract with an immediate start, offering the flexibility to be based in the UK or Belgium.
The Role
Working as part of a wider team of instructional designers and technical SMEs, you will:
Design and develop high-quality learning materials and modules in Dutch, tailored to a technical audience.
* Translate complex petrochemical processes and systems into engaging, structured, learner-friendly content.
* Ensure materials align with instructional design best practices and business goals.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and validate content.
* Adapt existing training materials for localisation and technical accuracy.
Your Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
* Proven experience in instructional design, with a strong portfolio of written learning content.
*Abackground in technical learning, ideally with exposure to engineering or petrochemical environments.
* Native-level fluency in Dutch and professional proficiency in English.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to content creation.
