About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and qualified coach to lead the football element of our 16–18 education & performance programme. This is a key coaching role, working with talented young players as they combine education with football development. The role includes leading training sessions, travelling with the squad to competitive fixtures, and contributing to the ongoing development of players both on and off the pitch.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions (Tuesdays & Fridays) aligned with programme philosophy and player development objectives.
* Lead the squad on match days (Wednesdays), including preparation, in-game coaching, and post-match feedback.
* Support players' technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development in line with long-term development goals.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to safeguarding and welfare best practices.
* Work collaboratively with programme staff, education partners, and support teams to deliver a holistic experience for players.
* Maintain player records (attendance, performance, progression) and contribute to programme reviews.
* Represent the programme professionally at fixtures, tournaments, and events.

Required Qualifications & Experience
* UEFA C License (minimum)
* First Aid in Football (FA IFAS or equivalent)
* Safeguarding Children Certificate
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Experience coaching in a structured football environment

Desirable
* UEFA B License (or currently working towards it)
* Previous experience in a professional academy, football education programme, or equivalent high-performance setting
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor young players
* Knowledge of talent ID and progression pathways within football

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
