GSL Education are appointing dedicated PE Support staff to assist in delivering enjoyable and inclusive physical activities. The role is based in partner schools situated within Sheffield, covering areas in and around the S2 and S3 postal districts. In this role, Physical Education ( PE) Support staff will assist teachers during lessons, help set up equipment, and encourage pupils to participate confidently in a safe and structured environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the delivery of PE lessons and activities. Support pupils during sports sessions and practical tasks. Help set up and organise equipment safely and efficiently. Promote teamwork, participation, and positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning. Requirements of PE Support: Previous experience in sports, coaching, or a school support role. A positive, energetic, and encouraging approach. Good communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
