The Role
* Deliver practical, hands‑on landscaping and horticulture training
* Teach key areas including paving, walling, fencing, planting and garden construction
* Support learners in developing real, job‑ready skills
* Plan and deliver engaging sessions aligned to industry standards
* Monitor, support and track learner progress
* Contribute to the ongoing development of courses and training materials
* Work closely with the wider curriculum team and industry partners
* Full‑time, permanent position based in York
The Person
* Experienced landscaper or horticulture professional
* Strong background in hard landscaping (paving, walling, fencing, full garden builds)
* Knowledge of planting schemes, maintenance and garden design
* Takes pride in high-quality workmanship and industry standards
* Looking to move into a more structured, less physically demanding role
* Interested in developing others and passing on their skills
* No teaching experience required – full training and qualifications provided
The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
