Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with a high-end residential Property Management firm in Central London. They are currently in the process of adding a full-time, permanent Relief Porter/Concierge to the team in order to provide holiday and absence cover across the Prime Central London portfolio. This role would suit someone who has at least a year's prior experience working in a Residential Concierge/Hospitality role:
Duties/Functions of the role:
1. Meeting and greeting residents and their guests on arrival.
2. Attending to residents and visitors’ needs and wants within reasonable expectations.
3. Opening doors, carrying parcels and suitcases.
4. Assisting management with maintaining records and daily administration.
5. Reporting any Health and Safety concerns to the General Manager and Deputy Manager.
6. Checking vacant flats on a weekly basis, which includes running the taps and appliances, checking for leaks and any other potential problems, taking meter readings, and noting maintenance issues.
7. Ensuring timely communication with residents, contractors, and management via email/phone.
8. Performing daily/weekly/monthly building checks.
9. Managing communal keys, apartment keys, and parcels.
10. Carrying out basic DIY as required, such as changing light bulbs or fuses.
11. Overseeing tradesmen working on site.
12. Maintaining a high level of security measures at the property.
Requirements of the role:
1. At least 1+ years' experience working as a Residential Concierge or within Hospitality as a Porter.
2. Flexibility to cover 35 hours per week over multiple Central London sites.
3. Passion for Customer Service.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Good level of computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
6. Good understanding of how to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Salary Budgets: £29,400pa, IOSH, Mental Health & First Aid Training funded.
Required Hours: 35 hours per week on Shift Patterns, covering holidays and absences given 1 month in advance (day and night shifts).
