We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Dementia Care Manager. If this sounds like the right place for you, we would love to hear from you!
About the Role
Your main responsibility as a Dementia Care Manager will be to oversee the management of the Dementia Community, implementing the company's dementia care strategy and managing resources within a specified budget.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the care plan accurately reflects the needs and preferences of residents and is integrated into a person-centred care plan.
2. Building caring relationships with residents and their families, acting as an advocate for the residents' best interests, and managing conflicts appropriately.
3. Collaborating with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with Dementia and supporting the care team's participation in these activities.
4. Promoting a culture that maximizes residents' capabilities, independence, and quality of life.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
2. A thorough understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
3. Knowledge of care services businesses and the UK health and social care market.
