Join us as the Head of Sales at NatWest Boxed!
We’re looking for a proven leader in financial technology enterprise sales to accelerate NatWest Boxed’s growth agenda. Critical to the role will be the development and coaching of a high performing sales team. You’ll be joining a strategically important, exciting and fast-paced area of the Bank, where you will be able to shape the future of embedded finance and Banking as a Service (BaaS) in the UK. You will work with the UK’s largest Commercial Banking franchise in order to discover the next generation of clients for Natwest Group’s BaaS ambitions. You'll define and drive Boxed’s sales strategies across target channels and sectors.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading and developing a professional, agile, capable and engaged sales team through regular coaching, individual mentoring and hands-on training Defining and implementing sales strategies that align to Boxed’s mission, product capabilities and go-to-market strategy Delivering revenue growth to meet, or exceed, sales targets by building and expanding relationships with new and existing clients Structuring complex, £50M++ ACV, deals working across functional areas of the bank to align stakeholders and drive conversion through the sales funnel Implementing and continuously improving NW Boxed’s sales processes and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective pipeline management, including the setting and monitoring sales targets and activity levels Providing expert insight and guidance on clients and products customers to develop industry leading solutions Driving pro-active business development activities across targeted markets Managing day-to-day operations with focus on hitting key sales metrics Creating structure and focus for GTM activities and be hands-on engaged in the largest, most strategic deal to help the team win new opportunities
The skills you'll need: You will be very experienced in managing a sales team and understanding how to drive the team to success. You'll have a passion for growing businesses in the financial technology space and be an advocate of BaaS and embedded finance
You’ll be expected to have:
Highly experienced in growing and managing top sales teams in technology and/or financial services Extensive experience in selling Software as a Service (SaaS), or BaaS, solutions to large and mid-market corporates clients Experience of working in a financial services business, including strong knowledge of balance sheet products (Savings, Lending, BNPL) and related regulatory requirements and processes Excellent leadership skills, with ability to hire, train and coach ambitious sales individuals and teams Evidence of successfully implementing sales management frameworks and processes A growth mentality as a hands-on analytical leader who enjoys representing the business in the market, being able to structure and convert complex deals, with a high acumen to present complex solutions and ideals
