Your Role as a Technical Sales Advisor
As a Technical Sales Advisor in Slough, you will play a vital role in our team by:
* Communicating effectively to achieve shared objectives
* Being aware of branch targets and objectives
* Improving processes for better efficiency
* Providing expert sales advice from a technical perspective
* Handling complex requests that require problem-solving skills
* Delivering best-in-class service to our customers
* Managing customer expectations and addressing disputes
* Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
* Quoting accurate prices within agreed timelines
* Performing general administrative tasks
* Gathering information for statistical analysis
* Raising purchase orders for approval
* Processing sales orders and maintaining an audit trail
* Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Reporting incidents promptly and accurately
* Maintaining a tidy and hazard-free working environment
Working Conditions
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Enjoy your weekends off!
What We’re Looking For
We’d love for you to bring the following to our team:
* Previous experience in a coordination, administrative, or customer support role (not essential as full training will be provided)
* Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and good communication abilities
* A willingness to learn and collaborate within a team environment
* The ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Industry knowledge is advantageous but not required
