Pre-Construction Manager - Civil Engineering - Waste Water project

A leading civil engineering main contractor, delivering high-quality projects across the UK, are looking to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager - Waste Water. With a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative culture, they are now looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced and driven Pre-construction Project Manager.
Your new role
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be primarily involved in the effective management of single and/or multiple projects in the pre-construction stage, with a continued supporting role in project(s) as required by the business. You will liaise with the Pre-Construction Director and the overall team in respect of upcoming projects, assisting in overall planning and programme delivery.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions
Work with design partners to develop compliant and competitive designs
Coordinate electrical design elements to ensure integration and efficiency
Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leading communication with design teams and specialist supply chain partners
Review all drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission for comments or approvals
Support contracts managers and procurement teams to ensure all purchases meet specification and drawing requirements
Liaise with specialist subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid submissions are fully compliant
What you'll need to succeed
:
Proven experience in project management
Strong understanding of water projects
Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts and construction methodologies
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, self-starting approach with a passion for preconstructionWhat you'll get in return:
