The Team
You’ll join a collaborative and high-performing finance team, working closely with colleagues across the business, including finance, holidays, treasury, and the Group Head of Tax. Together, we ensure easyJet’s indirect tax affairs are expertly managed and fully optimised.
The Role
As Indirect Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of the indirect tax affairs for the worldwide easyJet Group. You’ll:
4. Manage and review all UK and European VAT, APD, Intrastat and EC Sales list returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
5. Oversee indirect tax aspects of key accounting systems and processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency
6. Provide expert advice on indirect tax matters for business proposals, projects, M&A transactions and ad hoc queries
7. Identify opportunities to improve indirect tax cashflows and accounting impact
8. Lead the end-to-end management of external tax advisers and engagement with tax authorities, including audits and enquiries
9. Keep process notes up to date and ensure changes in legislation are incorporated into business practices
10. Collaborate closely with the wider finance team and external auditors to ensure seamless delivery and compliance
