Role Summary:
This is a dual role, responsible for the co:ordination of materials related to projects and improvement initiatives whilst providing data analysis and insight to support planning, inventory control and supply chain decision making.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Coordination of the materials team activities to support the successful delivery of NPD, resourcing projects and ECO processing.

Attend project and ECO calls, determine materials responsibilities and liaise with the Buyers to ensure smooth implementation and correct stock run down.

Maintain forecasts relating to materials required to meet operational requirements.

Undertake detailed analysis and make recommendations with regards to excess and obsolete inventory and costs to identify reduction opportunities.

Work with the Master Data Analyst to manage PFEP files. Review, agree and implement changes in Oracle.

Create inventory reports and provide updates to others in the organization.

Monitor costs and recommend process improvements.

Create, maintain and issue supplier performance metrics to buyers for their regular supplier performance review meetings.

Carry out routine inventory control audits and support inventory checks to validate accuracy.

Create and maintain materials work instructions and workflow documents.
:
Create, maintain and track materials team metrics/KPI's.
:
Communicate with stakeholders in sharing reports, updates and analysis to aid decisions and optimise operational efficiency.

Work towards and support a culture of continuous improvement and work to make business and department improvements wherever possible.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Education Level: Degree preferred but not essential
Professional Certification: Not Applicable
Technical Skills: Competent MS Office applications user, especially Excel; ERP knowledge (Oracle experience preferred but not essential) and manufacturing/lean experience.
Experiences:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Buyer role or similar fast paced role
