Community Nurse Lead - Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury, Newent & Staunton Integrated Community Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Nursing Lead (CNL) to join our established teams to work with our community nurses in the Forest, Tewkesbury, Newent & Staunton (TNS) Integrated Community Team. This post will be based in the Forest North team from the Cinderford main base.
The role is diverse, varied and practice-focused, upholding the professional standards of practice, innovating service developments and working in collaboration with colleagues to create an outstanding service for the patients and families we work with. You will join an established, highly experienced collaborative peer group of professionals within Community Nursing as well as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Home First / Reablement.
What will your role involve
* You will clinically lead, supervise and manage a community nursing team working closely alongside them each day providing both direct and indirect patient care.
* Apply your Clinical operational experience, maintaining and improving quality, monitoring standards utilising data, audits and reports.
* Identify service delivery development or system opportunities working with our partners across Health & Social care and community networks.
* Build Key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote and build community nursing services
Qualifications and experience
The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.
* Essential: A relevant Occupational qualification
* Essential: NMC registration
* Essential: Educated to degree (level 6) (or diploma equivalent)
* Essential: Extended skills qualifications relevant to the discipline (District Nurse SPQ)
* Desirable: Hold a recognised teaching and assessment/mentoring qualification
* Essential: Post registration Community Nursing Experience
* Essential: Clinical team leadership including professional and clinical supervision to staff at a variety of level
* Desirable: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Desirable: Use of electronic clinical recording system - S1 or similar system
